Ukrainian stormtroopers recapture spoil heap held by Russia since 2014
The soldiers of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo recaptured a spoil tip from the Russians in the Horlivka direction, took prisoners and installed the Ukrainian flag

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Our heroes are the assault group of the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo, the royal brigade. Despite the difficult conditions, they recaptured one of the spoil heaps within Horlivka and captured the enemy's positions. Now our flag is fluttering over the spoil tip. Horlivka is Ukraine! Donbas is Ukraine!" the Head of State emphasized.
He also posted a corresponding video. The footage shows how the assault was being prepared and how the soldiers were taking up their positions. They also show Russian soldiers who were captured.
It is worth noting that Horlivka is a settlement northeast of Donetsk that has been under occupation since 2014.
