Ukraine receives third Starlink batch from Poland: some of them will be deployed in Points of Invincibility
On the New Year’s eve, Ukraine received another batch of Starlinks, some of them will be placed in the Points of Invincibility, and the rest - at critical infrastructure facilities
This was announced on December 30 by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
"Ukraine has received another batch of Starlink systems. And today they will go to the Points of Invincibility, as well as to support the medical and energy sectors," he wrote.
"It is very important that Ukrainians stay in touch with their loved ones, and critical infrastructure continues to work, despite the most difficult situations," the prime minister added.
He thanked Poland for the assistance and stressed that this is the third batch of Starlink, which Ukraine receives from a neighbouring friendly state, and the first part of a large batch, which the government expects by the end of January.
In late November, the government decided to import Starlink to Ukraine free of duty and VAT.
