Voting at gunpoint: how did elections in Russian-held Ukrainian territories look like?
On Russian-held territories people armed with assault rifles stopped Ukrainians at checkpoints and demanded to "vote", even telling them where to put a tick.
The National Resistance Center reports.
The occupiers also raided homes, trying to find out information about local residents who ignored the "elections." In particular, there were cases when the Russians tried to get into the house twice and three times if the door was not opened.
This was performed by collaborators who were transported by buses. Two police cars escorted the buses. When they got off the bus, the roundup groups were formed: two civilians and one military, and the raid began.
First of all, they visited those who voted in the pseudo-referendum and "local elections" to obtain the relevant lists.
At the same time, collaborators from the "election commissions" recorded who voted and formed a separate list of "disloyal residents" who avoided "voting."
The National Resistance Center notes that every traitor is known to the Defense Forces and will be held accountable for participating in this farce.
