“NATO is the only guarantee of security that protects all member countries of the Alliance. It gives you confidence that you will not be attacked. Because the nuclear countries are behind you. Also, the future guarantees of Ukraine are the presence of missile systems with a range of up to 5,000 km. So that, as soon as danger arose, our missiles covered 2,500 km of Russian territory. Then there will be a 100% guarantee of safety,” Ohryzko emphasized.
According to the diplomat, the NATO treaty clearly stipulates that if an aggressor country risks attacking a small Alliance member country, it will have to deal with the USA.
“I emphasize that we need to have a powerful missile program that will keep a potential aggressor on his toes. There is an even better option to guarantee Ukraine's security - it is the disappearance of Russia from the face of the earth,” Ohryzko concluded.
