Ukraine is ready to launch counteroffensive, Budanov states
The Chief of Ukrainian Defense Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov, said that Ukraine has the necessary minimum amount of weapons to launch a counteroffensive
Budanov stated this in an interview with the Japanese TV channel NHK.
According to Kyrylo Budanov, the Armed Forces of Ukraine possess the necessary minimum of weapons, and the commencement of the counteroffensive is imminent.
"There is no more time to waste, as many civilians are still under Russian occupation. We have acquired the essential minimum of weapons, and I can state that the counteroffensive will begin in the near future," Budanov affirmed.
However, he also emphasized that to liberate the temporarily occupied territories from the Russian Federation, additional weaponry is required.
"We must expel Russia from our land, and we must utilize all available forces and resources to achieve this goal. We need substantial reserves of weapons and ammunition to effectively sustain the operation," Budanov emphasized.
