Serhiy Zgurets, director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, stated this on Espreso.
According to him, the lively discussion about the Patriot complexes indicates that the decision to provide them to Ukraine is approaching. So far, this political discussion has not turned into a final decision, but everything will depend on the United States, which has about 400 Patriot air defense systems of various modifications in stock. It is the States that can transfer them quickly after preparation.
"We are really on the verge of making a decision on the transfer of the Patriot, because it is faster and easier than the story with the F-16 and other aircraft of Western countries," Serhiy Zgurets emphasized.
