"Maybe it won't sound great, but Ukraine is a good investment for Americans. Russia does not only want to fight not Ukraine, the Russians would then go to Moldova and the rest of Europe. If Russia wants to continue making problems for everyone, providing money and weapons to Ukraine is a good investment. Ukraine has to show the Russians that they should stay in their own country," said Smart.
The US is actively helping Ukraine, because they understand that Russians are international criminals who commit genocide against Ukrainians.
"When the full-scale war of Russia against Ukraine began, the US was really afraid to actively help Ukraine. But now Americans are not afraid. In the US, it is understood that Russia isn't only fighting Ukraine, it is committing genocide against the Ukrainian people. Americans understand that Russians are international military criminals. US assistance to Ukraine is no longer a risk. Moreover, Russia can't respond to the US for helping Ukraine. It's not important what Putin thinks. The US is helping Ukraine and will continue to help in the future," Jason Smart said.
