UK is ready to help Ukraine with gas purchase, production development - Shmyhal

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and UK Prime Minister Liz Truss have discussed financial support for the purchase of gas, preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference, and the supply of weapons.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal wrote about this on Telegram.

"I am glad to meet the Prime Minister of the UK, Liz Truss, in New York. We continue to develop our strategic partnership: we discussed the supply of weapons, preparation for the heating season, and the reconstruction of Ukraine," Shmyhal wrote.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the UK is ready to help Ukraine financially to purchase gas, as well as to attract business to the development of gas production in Ukraine. Shmygal also noted that they discussed preparations for the Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine with Liz Truss.

"We agreed to create a working group to prepare for the Conference on the Recovery of Ukraine, which is to be held next year in Great Britain. We thank our British friends for their political support and practical help," the Prime Minister of Ukraine added.
