He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"We know the area near Pokrovsk very well because we have been in this area for two years. We know where some surprises can be expected. But it's close to Pokrovsk, and unfortunately, this allows the enemy to shell the city with various types of weapons, including mortars," Tsehotskyi said.
According to the officer, the assault units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces are conducting counterattacks on Russian troops as far as possible.
"We are not just sitting and fighting back. We are planning, carrying out planned, round-the-clock work military operations and conducting exercises. Territories are mined to ensure security. That is, the work continues, we are holding the frontline," added Tsehotskyi.
- Volodymyr Nazarenko, head of artillery intelligence of the 4th Rubizh Brigade, NGU captain, noted that Russian units continue to exert pressure using all available resources.
- Mykola Dovbnya, a member of Druzhkivka City Council, noted that the shelling continues around the clock in Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.
