There will always be shortage of weapons, no matter how many there are available - AFU’s serviceman Shvaika
The Ukrainian army at this stage and at the next stage of the offensive needs a lot of weapons, in particular, a new generation of machine guns
Military serviceman Ihor Shvaika stated this on Espreso TV.
"Military, in a good sense, reminds of hooligans who are always short of everything. We don't have enough mines, artillery ammunition, and machine guns. In 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fire Maxim machine guns not for the sake of a picture, but because it is in service," he noted.
According to Shvaika, a new generation of machine guns is very necessary.
"In the army at this stage and at the next stage of the offensive, a lot of weapons are needed. If the president, the minister of defense, the commander-in-chief of the army repeat this phrase and it may bore civilians a little, listen to another point of view. In fact, there are not enough weapons and ammunition. The military should not save the weapons, but aim, practice, go through training, get combat experience, so that at the moment X, not with the Maxim machine gun, but with modern weapons, we give "gifts" to those creatures who invaded our holy Ukrainian land. There are few weapons, few mines, shells - there are few and there will always be few of them, no matter how many there are," the military officer concluded.
