The war can end only after the deoccupation of all territories of Ukraine, including the Crimea - Danilov
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov said that the Russian-Ukrainian war will end when all the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russia, including the Crimean peninsula, are liberated
He spoke about this on the air of the program "Great Lviv Speaks" on the Espreso TV channel.
"There is no need to say that the battle in the Donbas will become a key one in the Russian-Ukrainian war. This is a very dangerous thing and manipulation. For there can be a lot of such battles in this war. Therefore, one should not focus on the battle that can take place on the territory of Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk regions. After we drove the Russian infidels out of our northern regions, they drew conclusions and began to better coordinate their actions. They also replaced most of the military leadership in their army", Danilov said.
Danilov emphasized that the Russian Federation regrouped the troops that participated in the battles in the northern regions of Ukraine to the East of Ukraine. According to him, today the main goal of the Russian occupation troops is to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
"Russian invaders are now regrouping and trying to carry out offensive operations in the East of Ukraine. Their main goal is to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions", Danilov explained.
Danilov also noted that the war will end when Ukraine liberates all territories occupied by Russia, including Crimea.
"After we have expelled the Russian invaders from the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Sumy, Chernihiv regions, we will liberate all our territories. I mean that the war will end when we liberate all the occupied Ukrainian territories, including Crimea", Danilov added.
