The US to transfer 8 NASAMS to Ukraine
Ukraine will receive eight NASAMS air defense systems from the US, and two of them Ukraine will receive in the near future.

According to the official representative of the US Ministry of Defense, Ukraine will receive two NASAMS systems in the near future, and another six will be provided later.
“The U.S. have committed eight NASAMS and associated munitions, and two of those will be in Ukraine in the very near future, with six more to be provided later. We also have committed to a suite of counter-unmanned aerial systems, including the VAMPIRE system”, representative of the Pentagon said.
He added that Ukraine will receive air defense systems from other countries.
Germany has agreed to provide four IRIS-T systems. They were extremely well used in Ukraine. Spain responded to the call to provide HAWK air defense system. A number of countries have also donated munitions for NASAMS", the US Department of Defense said.
On October 26, manufacturing company Raytheon Technologies reported that it had already handed over NASAMS complexes to the US government, and Ukraine would soon receive the first two systems.
On October 28, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said that Ukraine would receive first NASAMS air defense systems in early November.
