The invaders shelled at the airport in Ivano-Frankivsk

The mayor of the city Ruslan Martsinkiv reported this in his message on Facebook.

“Unfortunately, the alarm system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has not worked, there are explosions at our airport,” said Martsinkiv.

The head of the city emphasized the alarm system is military and not controlled by local authorities. Martsinkov noted the causes of the system failure will be investigated.

Also the mayor asked people to leave the territory near the airport if it is possible.

What is more, Martsinkiv asked the witnesses not to spread the photos and videos from the scene, so as not to provide the invaders with the information they can use for the further aggression.

“Warning! Do not post any photos and videos of the explosion sites. You are helping the invaders, handing over the location! We are investigating why the alarm system did not work. The residents of Krykhivtsi, Chukalivka, Opryshivtsi! Do not leave your homes and do not move around your area any time soon! For now stay at home for your safety!” wrote Martsinkiv in Telegram.
