Slovakia claims transfer of all 13 announced MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine
As of the morning of April 17, Slovakia reports the arrival of all 13 announced MiG-29 fighter jets in Ukraine
Slovakia’s Ministry of Defense reported the information.
"This transfer was carried out by land, taking into account the maximum possible safety, and once again, many thanks to all the forces involved, because in such cases it is a really important and complex logistics operation," said Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď.
Ukraine has now received all 13 MiG-29 fighter jets announced.
Jaroslav Naď reminds that MiG-29 aircraft are a significant support for Ukraine in its defense against Russian military aggression and in protecting its citizens.
"In addition, these aircraft were unusable for us unlike for our neighbor. We are doing the right thing," the minister added.
