Slovakia hands over first 4 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine
The first four MiG-29 fighters out of the promised 13 have left the territory of the Slovak Republic and are heading to Ukraine

Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď reported this on Facebook.
“The redeployment was carried out by Ukrainian pilots in coordination with the Slovak Air Force and other forces, which ensured the safety,” he wrote.
“The government will continue to help save innocent human lives,” Naď assured.
The minister promised that other aircraft would be handed over to Ukraine in the coming weeks.

On March 17, the Slovak government approved the delivery of 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.

The US has offered to sell 12 new Bell AH-1Z Viper helicopters to Slovakia at a discount after Bratislava sends its MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.
