Situation in Kupyansk: Russia's 'meat assaults' yield no success

Serhiy Cherevatyi, the spokesperson for the Eastern Grouping of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, shared the information on the United News telethon broadcast.

Cherevatyi explained that Russian forces are attempting to seize the initiative from Ukrainian soldiers and breach their defenses. A visit to the Kupyansk sector by the Land Forces Commander, Oleksandr Syrskyi, resulted in valuable decisions that will significantly enhance defense organization in the area. The situation remains difficult but under control.

According to the spokesperson, Russian occupying forces aim to replicate the tactics employed by Wagner Group, utilizing " meat assaults," but have yet to achieve any success

"This is their imitation of Wagner. These companies are 'Storm Z.' However, I'm confident that, thanks to our defense forces, they will replicate the 'Wagner feat'," Cherevatyi concluded.
