SHARK drone is created in Ukraine, it can adjust HIMARS fire
The Ukrainian company Ukrspecsystems has developed a new UAV named SHARK, which can direct long-range artillery fire, including HIMARS as well as conduct reconnaissance and surveillance
This is reported by Ukrspecsystems.
The company says that the development of the drone began already after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia, and in half a year the device was already flying. Ukrspecsystems emphasizes that the drone is completely Ukrainian-made.
SHARK has a highly reliable communication module and a camera with 30-fold optical magnification and additional digital zoom, due to which the device can go deep behind the enemy lines -up to 60 km. The UAV can monitor an object at a distance of up to 5 km.
The flight time of the drone is more than 2 hours, the cruising speed is 70-90 km/h, and the maximum flight speed is 150 km/h.
On October 26, it was reported that two more UAV systems of the Eyes of Artillery project based on the Poseidon UAV will be delivered to the Ukrainian troops.
