Russian troops take tactical pause to re-plan their actions after massive attacks
After massive missile and drone attacks on the territory of Ukraine, the Russian army has taken a tactical pause to re-plan its actions and prepare for a new massive attack
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, shared the information on the United News telethon.
According to her, after certain massive attacks, Russian troops take a tactical pause to re-plan their actions. They still have the forces and supplies to do so.
"Everyone has noticed that nights are more peaceful, with fewer air raid alerts and enemy attacks. Because after certain massive attacks, the occupiers take a tactical pause to re-plan their actions. They still have the capacity. They have replenished their stockpiles, including drones. This suggests that massive night attacks will be repeated. But we can't be lulled into thinking that it will only happen at night," said Humeniuk.
She emphasized the importance for Ukrainians to remain vigilant since the enemy is cunning and will seek victories “wherever they can at least fabricate them.”
There are 7 Russian ships in the Black Sea, but no missile carriers
Natalia Humeniuk also said that there are currently 7 Russian ships on combat duty in the Black Sea and one in the Sea of Azov. According to her, the ships are currently monitoring the surface situation and conducting reconnaissance. This suggests that Russia is probably preparing another attack.
"Currently, the enemy's naval presence in the Black Sea is “modest” compared to their typical deployments. They have 7 ships stationed in the Black Sea and 1 ship in the Sea of Azov," said Natalia Humeniuk.
She also emphasized that there are no missile carriers on duty in the Black Sea, but it takes 2-3 hours for them to return and be ready for attacks.
Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive progress
Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, said that the success of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is indeed predictable, as they are advancing in all directions.
However, according to her, not all directions can be publicized. Humeniuk appealed to Ukrainians to understand the peculiarities of the area of responsibility where the front line runs along the Dnipro River.
"The advance of troops in our direction can be publicized only after official confirmation. Unnecessary disclosures can be detrimental to the ongoing military operations, as everyone desires their success. So we need to wait for an official announcement," she said.
Humeniuk further stated the only information she can mention due to maintaining information silence is that the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively engaged in counter-battery combat. The counter-battery operations have been successful, and the execution of plans is progressing at the expected rate. According to her, the occupying forces are dissatisfied with the Ukrainian counteroffensive's pace, indicating its effectiveness.
"We are working, there are results, but we need a little patience," emphasized Humeniuk.
Speaking about Prigozhin's mutiny in Russia, she commented that the Ukrainian side took advantage of this situation and intensified explanatory work among the occupiers.
"We made them understand that their place is actually there, behind the border, because they have business in their own country. Real officers should be engaged in the affairs of their state, and not force Russian peace where it is not needed. And this had a very significant impact on the enemy troops, they really considered the fact that it was time to return home and establish order there," Humeniuk emphasized.
