Russian troops have less retreat options after Chonhar bridge destruction
The Deputy Representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Denys Chystikov, says that Russian troops are significantly limited in relocating their military equipment across the Chonhar Bridge
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Up to 70% of the occupiers' military equipment was supplied through the Chonhar Bridge to the occupied territory of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia region. Currently, this traffic is significantly limited. Russians have installed pontoons nearby, but these pontoons are vulnerable and have limited capacity," noted Chystikov.
According to Chystikov, after the Chongar Bridge was blown up, Russian troops’ retreat options have decreased.
"The possibility of retreat is an urgent issue for the Russian military now. They realize that this possibility has been significantly limited. Retreat routes are possible only through Perekop and the city of Armyansk," he explained.
