Ukraine's Armed Forces have liberated the city of Kupiansk

Ukraine's Armed Forces continue to liberate the territory of Ukraine from the invading Russian forces. According to the latest information from the Kraken unit, the Russian enemy was knocked out from Kupiansk. Now the city is completely de-occupied. The Ukrainian Armed Forces' counteroffensive is already continuing on the left bank of the Oskil River. Also on September 16, the President of Ukraine held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where they discussed the provision of the Ukrainian army and the list of weapons necessary for the further liberation of Ukrainian territories. This meeting coincided with the US announcement of a new package of military aid to Ukraine worth more than USD 600 million. This package traditionally includes ammunition for HIMARS MLRS, 36,000 rounds of ammunition for 122-mm guns, as well as 4 counter-battery radars for combating drones.  1,000 155-mm artillery ammunition should be singled out separately. We are probably talking about Excalibur artillery shells. By the way, Excalibur projectiles are supplied to Ukraine with special devices that allow using Excalibur from any 155-mm artillery system.

Military aid to Ukraine from Germany

Germany will supply Ukraine with 50 new Dingo armored vehicles, as well as 2 Mars II MSDS launchers, and 200 missiles for them.  Therefore, Ukraine will now have 24 HIMARS tracked MRLS MLRS. But it did not reach the German Gepard tanks again. However, the German newspaper Bild reported that after the Ukrainian Armed Forces' successful counteroffensive in the Kharkiv region, political pressure is growing in Germany and abroad on Chancellor Scholz in favor of providing Ukraine with heavy weapons. In particular, tanks Gepard I, Gepard II, and BMP Marder.  The majority of the German government is in favor of such a political decision. Therefore, we hope that such a decision will be made.

Russian planes are afraid to cross Ukrainian airspace

Against the background of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' successful counteroffensive, it is worth noting the professional work of the Ukrainian air defense in destroying enemy aircraft, helicopters, missiles, and drones. On September 16, the General Staff reported that over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian air defenses have destroyed an SU-24 aircraft, 3 Iskander cruise missiles, and an Orlan operational-tactical drone. However, it is worth remembering what happened before that. In the period from August 29 to September 12, 9 Russian military planes were shot down. On September 14, Ukraine's Armed Forces destroyed 4 military planes of the occupiers at once. It is also interesting that the foreign edition of Forbes came out with the headline "Russian military and space forces disappear at the worst time for themselves - during the counteroffensive of Ukraine." Russian aircraft disappear from the battlefield for two reasons.  Firstly, it is simply destroyed. Secondly, Russian aviation is afraid to appear in the zone where the Ukrainian air defense operates.

Over the past 14 days, Russia has lost over 300 tanks

The destruction and capture of Russian tanks is also successful. Over the past two weeks, the Russians have lost more than 300 tanks in the Kharkiv and Kherson regions. In order to somehow compensate for the loss of military equipment, the Russians are beginning to remove T-90 tanks from storage. These tanks are quite scarce for Russia. More than 200 such tanks are in storage.
