Russian forces kill two people while shelling Kherson residential buildings and infrastructure

On the morning of December 23, as a result of another shelling by the Russian army in the city of Kherson, two local residents were killed. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure facilities were also damaged.
It is reported that Russian forces attacked the city with multiple launch rocket systems.
The Deputy Head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, reported that the Russian troops shelled the Korabelnyi (Ship) district.
“One person is known to have been killed. The man received mine-explosive injuries incompatible with life,” Tymoshenko wrote.
The prosecutor's office started a pre-trial investigation on the fact of violating the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.
“To probe Russia’s war crimes properly, the necessary investigative measures are being carried out. Prosecutors, investigators, as well as experts are working on the scene,” the prosecutor's office added.
