Russian defense fails near Klishchiivka, Donetsk region — military expert Zgurets
The Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed the enemy out of Klishchiivka positions — Russian defense collapsed at key strongholds
Serhiy Zgurets, Defense Express director and military expert, stated this on Espreso.
“Recently, near Bakhmut, our troops successfully pushed the enemy out of positions near Klishchiivka. Our forces put in significant effort for two days, and the Russian defense collapsed at crucial strongholds there,” he said.
According to the expert, we can expect positive updates from our General Staff either today or tomorrow.
“Discussions with our military indicate that it was extremely challenging, but we managed to crush the enemy from multiple positions that were holding Klishchiivka from the west. The enemy's defense was breached, and the Russians retreated. It is likely that we will receive good news about the situation in Bakhmut soon,” concluded Zgurets.
