Russian army loses 7 tanks, 32 artillery systems and 1,100 soldiers at front in a day

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces shared the update on Facebook.

The total Russian combat losses from February 24, 2022, to November 12, 2023, amounted to:

• personnel - about 311,750 (+1110) people
• tanks - 5,342 (+25) 
• armored fighting vehicles - 10,073 (+32) 
• artillery systems - 7,559 (+32)
• MLRS - 881 (+2)
• air defense systems - 580 (+1) 
• aircraft - 322 (+0) 
• helicopters - 324 (+0) 
• UAV operational-tactical level - 5,632 (+12)
• cruise missiles - 1,560 (+1)
• ships/boats - 22 (+0)

Frontline update: Ukrainian Defense Forces repel a series of Russian attacks in 9 key frontline areas

According to the General Staff, a total of 80 combat clashes took place at the front.

In the area of the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed. 

In the northeastern border area, Russian forces maintain a grouping of troops covering the state border, conducting active sabotage activities in the border areas to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka, Nadiya, Luhansk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 attacks.

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops, supported by aviation, conducted assault operations near Serebrianska forestry, Luhansk region, but were unsuccessful.

In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian troops repelled 10 attacks near Khromove, Andriivka and Klishchiiivka in the Donetsk region. In turn, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on Russian troops, and consolidating their positions.

In the Avdiivka direction, Russia keeps on trying to encircle Avdiivka using aviation. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line and inflicting significant losses on Russian forces. Russian troops’ offensive actions near Avdiivka and 3 more settlements in the Donetsk region were unsuccessful.The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 18 attacks there.

In the Marinka direction, Russian forces, with the support of aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Ukrainian troops repelled 22 attacks there.

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian forces, supported by aviation, conducted unsuccessful assault operations near Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva and Staromayorske, Donetsk region. Ukrainian defenders repelled 11 attacks there.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops, supported by aviation, conducted assault operations near Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region, but were unsuccessful.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces are conducting an offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces, consolidating their positions and exhausting Russian troops.

In the Kherson direction, the Ukrainian Defence Forces conduct counter-battery operations, destroy Russian depots and successfully strike at the enemy's rear.

Russian occupying forces launch a missile attack on Ukraine at night

In total, Russia launched 1 missile and 63 air strikes, and 64 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

At night, Russian occupying forces launched another missile attack on Ukraine, using 2 Kh-59 guided missiles and an Iskander-M ballistic missile. Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed one Kh-59 guided missile. Information on the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Russian troops launched air strikes on 28 settlements across Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

Over 120 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions came under Russian artillery fire.

Ukrainian Armed Forces hit concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment

Over the day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 10 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Ukrainian missile troops hit 2 Russian artillery units, 8 concentrations of personnel, weapons and military equipment, and 2 air defense systems.

• On November 11, Russian terrorists conducted assault operations in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Zaporizhzhia, Shakhtarsk and Marinka directions.
