According to Ukrenergo power company, the Russian army attacked power system facilities in Zhytomyr and Chernihiv regions.
As a result, household and industrial consumers in certain districts of the Zhytomyr region lost access to electricity. However, in the morning, the power company restored electricity to most customers.
Consequences in the Zhytomyr region
Vitaliy Bunechko, head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, said that the UAV debris damaged civilian infrastructure and energy facilities.
“We are liquidating the consequences and assessing the damage. There were no civilian casualties,” he said in a statement.
Hit in Chernihiv region
Viacheslav Chaus, the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that the occupation forces attacked Nizhyn, Chernihiv region.
An infrastructure facility and a residential dormitory were hit there. As a result, a civilian was injured.
