Russian army is morally exhausted by anticipating Ukrainian counteroffensive — OC South
OC South joint press center head Natalia Humeniuk said that there are signs that the Russian military are morally exhausted by the long-term expectation of the Ukrainian counteroffensive and are panicking
Natalia Humeniuk, OC South press center head stated this during the telethon.
“The constant tension along the 450 km front in our area of responsibility keeps the Russians uncertain about the direction of our counteroffensive. Our actions and propaganda reaching the deep rear in Crimea greatly concern the occupiers. Their maneuvers are under constant surveillance, and it's evident that the Russians become restless, frequently changing positions, reinforcing defense structures, and even experiencing cases of desertion. These signs indicate their moral and psychological instability,” she emphasized.
Furthermore, the Russian Federation persists in employing terrorist tactics by launching night attacks. Last night, they targeted residential areas in Kherson with mortars and incendiary shells.
Additionally, Russian terrorists continue their shelling of the Mykolaiv region, aiming to hinder its participation in the grain agreement.
"They adhere to their tactics, conducting daily shelling of sea routes. Periodically, they also shell several communities from the Kinburn spit," stated the speaker.
The occupiers resort to the tactic of hiding among the local population, placing weapons directly in private yards.
"They carry out targeted operations and swiftly retreat from the area, fully aware that such actions can result in a 'one-way ticket' due to the vigilance of our security and defense forces," she added.
