Russian army attacks 10 Ukrainian regions in one day: 3 killed, 7 wounded

The regional military administrations provided information about the attacks.

Kirovohrad region: Air defense forces destroyed 7 Russian drones over the region. There was a hit as a result of the Russian attack with no casualties, injuries or damage to civilian infrastructure.

Chernihiv region: the Russian forces shelled the region 3 times in one day using mortars and artillery against 2 districts.There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure. 

Sumy region: at night and in the morning, Russian troops fired 5 times at settlements and border areas of Sumy region. Three communities were under fire.

During the day of September 27, Russia fired 36 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. Eight communities were subjected to attacks.

In the Velykopysarivka community, a private house and a tractor were damaged as a result of incendiary warheads dropped from a UAV. The shelling also damaged a private residential building and private outbuildings. In Mykolaivka community, a private household was damaged. In Seredyna-Buda community — a private household.

Dnipropetrovsk region: Russian invaders fired almost two dozen shells at Nikopol district at night. They also shelled the Myrovska community with artillery fire. Yesterday morning, the Russian army shelled Nikopol with heavy artillery, and in the afternoon it used a kamikaze drone. A private house, a utility company, an infrastructure facility, an outbuilding, a greenhouse and power lines were damaged.

Zaporizhzhia region: Russia made 148 attacks in 27 localities of the region over the past day. 125 artillery strikes took place on the territory of 12 settlements and other frontline towns and villages. 4 localities suffered from 9 MLRS attacks, 7 localities came under 10 UAV attacks, and 3 more settlements were affected by 4 air strikes.

A 23-year-old resident of Novoyakovlivka was wounded by a hostile MLRS and taken to a medical facility. Besides, there were 25 reports of residential buildings and infrastructure being destroyed.

Kharkiv region: 4 localities in the Slobozhansky direction came under artillery and mortar fire over the past day. In the Kupyansk direction, Russia launched air strikes near 2 localities, 6 more localities were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks. Artillery shelling in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, damaged the building of an aggregate plant.

A road infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of a Grom E-1 missile strike on a village in Kupyansk district. Also Russia shelled Mala Shapkivka village in Kupyansk district, causing the grass in the open area and an outbuilding to burn. A high-pressure gas pipe was damaged at the gas distribution point. The village was cut off from gas supply.

Luhansk region: 7 settlemets came under hostile fire. Two KAB-500 bombs exploded near Novoliubivka. On the outskirts of Nevske, dry grass caught fire as a result of four attacks from a Smerch missile system.

Donetsk region: Russian forces attacked localities in the region 20 times. 14 localities were under Russian fire. One person was killed and 5 others were wounded as a result of the hostile attacks. They also damaged 52 residential buildings, a gas pipeline and 2 power lines.

Mykolaiv region: this morning, hostile artillery shelling was recorded in the waters of Ochakiv community.  At night, an outbuilding was damaged in Stepivska community as a result of the Russian UAV's wreckage, shot down by air defense forces. Yesterday afternoon and last night in Mykolaiv region, air defense forces destroyed 22 Russian air targets: 2 Orlan reconnaissance UAVs and 20 Shahed 131/136 strike UAVs. Yesterday at about 9:44 p.m. Mykolaiv city suffered a missile attack. The missile hit an infrastructure facility on the outskirts of the city, causing a dry grass fire that was promptly extinguished. Also, last night in the Sukhoyelanets community, a power supply line was damaged as a result of the Russian UAV wreckage fall which was caused by air defense forces.

Kherson region: Russian troops fired 109 times at the region over the last day, including 9 times at the city of Kherson.

They hit the areas of 24 settlements in the region, the territory of the plant and a critical infrastructure facility in Kherson.

An explosive left by the Russians killed a man. The 61-year-old tractor driver was working in a field near the village of Novoberyslav. There he came across a Russian mine that detonated. The man was fatally wounded. As a result of an Russian attack in Kherson, a 41-year-old resident of Kherson sustained fatal injuries on the doorstep of his own home. Another man, 27 years old, received medical aid on the spot. He will be treated on an outpatient basis. 

• On the night of September 28, Russia launched several groups of Shahed drones. They were flying over the southern regions of Ukraine, and the air defense system was reported in Cherkasy region.
