Estonia allocates over half a billion euros for humanitarian aid to Ukraine
On Tuesday, May 21, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia announced the allocation of 656,447 euros for humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Firstly, the funds will be used to support children in the frontline areas.

It is noted that 352,695 euros will be used as part of the activities of the non-profit organisation Eesti Pagulasabi for multi-purpose financial assistance in the most vulnerable regions of Ukraine, to improve the lives of people in Ukraine and among Ukrainian refugees in Georgia.
In addition, with the help of €303,752, the non-profit Mondo will organize after-school summer camps for schoolchildren from the Zaporizhzhia region and offer mental health support to people in Ukraine.
"The people of Ukraine, including young children, are paying a high and painful price because of Russian terror. The daily attacks, particularly in the Kharkiv region in recent weeks, have resulted in the deaths of civilians, the destruction of buildings and the displacement of thousands of vulnerable people from their homes. It is our duty to support them in every way possible," said Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.
Ukraine's maritime drones are now equipped with Grad systems
The Sea Baby maritime drones are now equipped with Grad multiple rocket launchers and are already actively destroying enemy targets. This was reported by Suspilne, citing its own sources.
"Our Sea Baby is not just a drone, but a multifunctional platform that is constantly being improved. And today we can confirm that they are equipped with a multiple launch rocket system, and this technological solution is already showing powerful results. So the enemy is in for new surprises. We are working as efficiently as always," Ukraine's special service said.
Despite the war, Ukraine's GDP grows by more than 4% in April
According to preliminary estimates by the Ministry of Economy, Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) growth in April 2024 compared to April last year was about 4.3%.

In the period from January to April 2024, GDP growth is estimated at 4.4% [±1%] compared to the same period last year.
According to the Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, in April 2024, the trend of economic recovery continued, supported by record exports of goods, increased demand for construction services in the context of budget funding for infrastructure restoration, continued improvement in business sentiment and a revival in consumer activity.
Swedish government allocates over €6 billion for three-year military support to Ukraine
On May 22, Sweden agreed to establish a three-year military support program for Ukraine totaling SEK 75 billion (over €6 billion) for 2024-2026. This is stated on the website of the Swedish government.
"Sweden will increase its support, and the framework is SEK 75 billion for military support for 2024-2026, SEK 25 billion per year," the statement said.
The government stressed that Sweden will support Ukraine as long as necessary.
With this proposal, Sweden's total military and civilian support for Ukraine will amount to more than SEK 100 billion (€9.66 billion).
Military support within Ukraine can take the form of, for example, donations of defense equipment, financial contributions and financial support for the procurement of defense equipment.
