Ukrainians pay more than UAH 1 trillion in taxes in 2024
By the end of 2024, the Ukrainian State Tax Service's contributions to the general fund of the state budget exceeded UAH 1 trillion (approximately USD 24 million)
The Ukrainian Ministry of Finance's press service reported the information.
As of the evening of December 30, according to the Ministry, the general fund of the state budget received about UAH 2.2 trillion in taxes, fees and mandatory payments. More than UAH 1 trillion was received from the State Tax Service, namely:
- UAH 270.8 billion - corporate income tax;
- UAH 267.8 billion - value added tax (UAH 425.0 billion collected, UAH 157.2 billion refunded);
- UAH 233.6 billion - personal income tax and military duty;
- UAH 133.5 billion - excise tax;
- UAH 51.8 billion - rent.
Payments from the State Customs Service amount to about UAH 0.6 trillion.
In addition, in 2024, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 453.6 billion in international aid (grants).
“In total, according to the latest data, in 2024, the general and special funds of the state budget received more than UAH 3.1 trillion in taxes, fees and other payments. In addition, UAH 546.1 billion (as of December 30) was received in the form of unified social tax to the pension and social insurance funds,” the Ministry of Finance summarized.
- In 2024, Ukraine’s state budget received $41.7 billion in external financing, of which $12.6 billion were non-repayable grants.
