Russian army changes its tactics in Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian sergeant shares details
Oles Malyarevych, a sergeant with the Achilles company of the 92nd Detached Assault Brigade, said that Russia is trying to regain lost ground near Bakhmut
He shared the update with the Espreso TV channel.
"The 92nd Detached Assault Brigade and other brigades have been working for a long time in the southern direction of Bakhmut. We are in active defense. The enemy has not made any tactical or territorial gains so far. Ukrainian defense forces are doing everything necessary to prevent the Russian troops from advancing. The assaults are ongoing, Russia is trying to regain the lost positions," Malyarevych said.
According to the serviceman, Russia has amassed enough forces and means to storm the Ukrainian positions near Bakhmut.
“Russia is constantly receiving reinforcements, actively deploying drones. Russian enemy is trying to change tactics, using more drones. That is, if earlier infantry and equipment were in the lead, now drones are coming first. Russia is now relying on UAVs," explained Malyarevych.
- The Russian forces continue to actively use tactical aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.
- Political analyst Oleksandr Antoniuk believes that as long as the war takes place exclusively on the territory of Ukraine, Ukrainians will always be at a disadvantage.
