The Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information.

"Last night, units of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, inflicted a fire attack on the 67th arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry in the Bryansk region," the statement says.

According to the military, the warehouse was used to store ammunition for rocket and artillery weapons, including those from North Korea, as well as guided aerial bombs. Much of it was stored in the open.

"The destruction of such arsenals creates serious logistical problems for the Russian army, which significantly reduces the offensive potential of the occupiers in threatened areas," the General Staff emphasized.

What Russia says

The Russian Defense Ministry reported that Russian air defense allegedly destroyed 47 drones overnight, including 24 over the territory of the Bryansk region, 5 over the territory of the Belgorod region, 2 UAVs each in the Kursk and Rostov regions, one in the Krasnodar region, and 13 over the Sea of Azov.

Earlier, the head of the Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev, reported on the explosions. According to him, Shcherbinovsky district was subjected to a drone attack, in particular, in the village of Shabelskoye, as a result of the fall of UAV debris, windows in a private household were smashed and a gas pipe was damaged.

"For safety reasons, the gas was shut off, the fire was extinguished, and there were no injuries. Special and emergency services are working at the scene," Kondratiev wrote.

Local Yeysk Telegram channels wrote about a large number of drones in the city area, as well as air defense operations and the fire.

TASS quoted the head of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomazov, as saying that Russian air defense allegedly shot down 11 UAVs over the region.

  • Russia said that on the night of October 8, its air defense allegedly shot down 16 Ukrainian drones over the Belgorod region and the Black Sea.
