Russians in Mariupol plan to declare 20,000 houses and flats "ownerless"
In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russian 'authorities' intend to declare 20,000 properties, most of which are apartments, “ownerless"
This was reported by the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko.
He notes that the occupying Russian forces plan to give the apartments of Mariupol residents to the so-called Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) government.
"20,000 properties are to be declared ownerless in Mariupol. Most of them are apartments. All private houses that need to be repaired will be dismantled. The apartments will be transferred to the so-called DPR government," says Andriushchenko.
According to him, such actions of the Russians actually mean that when the "state looting ends, the distribution of apartments (stolen from us) will go from Mariupol to Donetsk, and the homeless residents of Mariupol will remain without a chance for resettlement."
At the same time, sources claim that the "new apartments" in Mariupol, in addition to mortgages, will be used to resettle refugees from Bakhmut, Avdiivka and other cities occupied by Russia.
- On May 27, it was reported that the Russian occupation troops had moved a large amount of equipment from the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation to the Berdiansk direction through the temporarily occupied Mariupol.
