Vivat publishing house reported this on its Telegram channel.

On Thursday, May 23, Russia launched a missile strike on Kharkiv, hitting the Factor-Druk printing house. There are dead and wounded. A fire broke out in the paper shop.

“Factor-Print is a printing house that is part of the Factor group of companies. Vivat Publishing House and Vivat bookstores are also part of the holding.

“This is one of the largest full-cycle printing complexes in Europe, so not only Vivat books are printed there, but also books from almost all Ukrainian publishers. Now open your books to the last pages and see how many of them are printed at Factor-Print. We promise you will be surprised how many there are,” the publisher said.

The Family Leisure Club publishing house also confirmed that it prints many of its books at Factor Printing because “it is one of the three largest printing houses in Ukraine.”

“There are 11 of our books (both new releases and reprints) at the printing press. From the business point of view, we will reconfigure the processes, and eventually the books will be released, but this is not the main thing now. You can't bring people back,” they noted.

Earlier, Yulia Orlova, CEO and co-owner of Vivat Publishing House, said in a commentary on the telegram channel about books that the civilian enterprise in Kharkiv that was damaged by the Russian invaders' S-300 missile attack on Thursday, May 23, was the printing house of their publishing house.

“Yes, this is our printing house. It is on fire now. They are dismantling the rubble and rescuing people,” Orlova wrote.

She clarified that people were working in the building.

The information was also confirmed by writer Anastasia Nikulina on Facebook. “The Russians hit the printing house of my publishing house, Vivat: there are dead and wounded. There are no words for anger and hatred, but words for support and donations. You can support by ordering books from the publishing house. Donations can be made at the collection. Anything you can see is possible,” emphasized Nikulina.

On the afternoon of May 23, a series of explosions occurred in Kharkiv and the region. As a result, people were killed and injured. As of 12:50 p.m., there are 6 dead and 16 wounded. The Russian terrorists launched at least 15 attacks on the city, preliminarily with S-300 missiles.
