The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration Philip Pronin reported on the consequences.
"The enemy hit the civilian infrastructure within the Poltava community. All relevant services are working at the scene," the head of the region wrote.
He noted that all detailed information is being clarified.
As of 10:30 p.m ., one person was reported dead and 5 others wounded, including 3 children. Another 1 person was rescued from a neighboring building.
It is also said that the roof of the building was partially destroyed and a fire broke out. Several neighboring houses were damaged.
At 11:25 p.m., it was reported that the number of victims had increased to 10.
"The total number of victims is currently known to be 10 people. Everyone is receiving the necessary assistance," wrote the head of the Military Administration.
The next day, on April 9, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko informed that a total of 12 people were injured, including 2 children.
"In addition, two three-story buildings, one four-story building and about a dozen cars were damaged by the missile strike. The rescue operation lasted more than 3 hours," he added.
