Russia tries to hide vulnerability of its refineries to drones — Centre for Countering Disinformation
The Russian terrorist authorities are using propaganda to hide the vulnerability of their refineries to Ukrainian drone attacks
This was reported by Ukraine's Centre for Countering Disinformation.
"Russian propaganda is actively disseminating messages that are supposed to "save the face" of the Russian military leadership in the face of systematic Ukrainian drone strikes on oil refineries," the Centre writes.
The Centre found out that the propaganda pays special attention to the statements of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, who boasts of "new developments to combat drones".
The Russians are trying to create the illusion of control in the fight against drones. In particular, they use speakers who promote praise for the Russian military-industrial complex.
"In reality, drone attacks are effective and are gradually destroying the Russian oil refining industry. The Russian military publicly reports that all drones have been shot down, but fires at refineries continue to prove the inability of the Russian army to seriously affect the situation," the Center said.
