Russia tries to force Ukrainian Armed Forces out of 3 settlements in Luhansk region — Ukrainian official
The head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Artem Lysohor, said that the situation in Luhansk region is deteriorating
He said this on Espreso TV.
“The situation in the Luhansk region is escalating because the enemy is constantly shelling. The enemy is trying to push our units out of Stelmakhivka, Novoyehorivka and Andriivka. Heavy fighting continues in Serebryanka forestry and Bilohorivka. Our guys are repelling the attacks and inflicting permanent damage on the Russians,” emphasized Lysohor.
The head of the Luhansk regional military administration also added that it is becoming increasingly difficult to provide humanitarian aid, especially to move along logistics routes.
“People who stay in Makiivka and Nevske are suffering from shelling. Because the enemy is actively attacking both logistics routes and settlements. Yesterday 4 people left, over 50 people are still there. We are working with them to evacuate them because the shelling has intensified,” noted Lysohor.
