Russia starts new stage of massive strikes throughout Ukraine - General Malomuzh
The massive air attack on Ukraine on the night of March 21 is a prerequisite for a new stage of massive strikes on the Ukrainian territory
General of the Ukrainian Army, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (2005-2010) Mykola Malomuzh said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The missile attack showed that the enemy is starting a new stage of massive strikes throughout Ukraine. Now the effectiveness of missile strikes is much lower. All missile systems, including Kinzhal and Iskander-M ballistic missiles and cruise missiles, were destroyed. However, this is only a prerequisite. The Russians will try to launch even more massive strikes," he said.
The use of so many missiles is only a tactical level, Malomuzh says.
"The Russians are saving their reserves for strategy and more systematic operations. We are preparing for this at the front. We are also preparing air defense systems and receiving new stockpiles. As a result of the 20th meeting in the Ramstein format, Ukraine will receive missiles and new electronic systems that will intercept and prevent Russian missiles or drones from entering the territory of Ukraine," he added.
- On the night of March 21, Russia launched a massive air attack on Ukraine. The missiles were moving in the direction of the western regions, and then most of them turned toward Kyiv. Air defense was operating in the capital and the region.
- Colonel Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, said that Russia was looking for effective tactics to inflict maximum damage.
