Russia to enshrine compulsory propaganda among children in Kherson region’s occupied part
In the temporarily occupied parts of Kherson region, Russia has introduced a draft law aimed at patriotic education of schoolchildren, involving Ukrainian children in Kremlin propaganda movements
The National Resistance Center reported the information.
It emphasises that with this draft law, Russia seeks to enshrine propaganda among children at the legislative level.
According to Russia's draft law "on patriotic education," children would be compelled to participate in Kremlin movements akin to the Komsomol, communist youth movement in the USSR.
The authors of this document openly embrace the superiority of the Russian nation and anti-Western rhetoric. Local Russian-installed authorities and Russian youth activists from the "Russian legal workshop" are accountable for its creation.
"Thus, using the tool of mass participation and the material benefits of participation in such movements, the enemy plans to increase brainwashing of Ukrainian children to prepare them as janissaries for the next wars of the empire," the Center adds.
- On July 11, it was revealed that Russia plans to relocate 750 children from the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region to its Astrakhan region, purportedly for recreational activities, with involvement from Russian military personnel.
