Russia's recent attacks destroy two machine halls of Dnipro hydroelectric station in Zaporizhzhia
Alisa Sysoyeva, a deputy of the Zaporizhzhia District Council, noted that DniproHES hydroelectric power station is currently not working due to Russian attacks
She said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Unfortunately, the latest Russian missile attack has completely destroyed two machine halls, and we were informed about this by the military administration. So now DniproHES hydroelectric power station is not working," Sysoyeva said.
The deputy of the Zaporizhzhia District Council also added that there is traffic across the dam through DniproHES.
"As for the road across the dam, which is the city's transport artery connecting the two banks, work is underway to restore traffic. There are some difficulties due to the fact that the road is not operating in full lanes, but there is traffic via the largest hydroelectric power station on Dnipro River.
There is also an alternative way to get between the banks. This is the road through Khortytsia Island, which has recently been restored," Sysoyeva said.
