Ukrainska Pravda, Ukrinform, and Hromadske reported this with reference to their own sources in the Ukrainian Special Service (SBU).

It is noted that the drones hit two oil depots in the village of Yurivka near Anapa in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation. They are transshipment points for fuel supplies to Russian troops in Crimea, as they are located near the peninsula.

“The explosions season at Russian refineries and fuel depots are in full swing. The SBU will continue to reduce Russia's economic and logistical potential for warfare,” the source said.

The Krasnodar Operational Headquarters and the Governor of the Belgorod Region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported the explosions and the consequences.

According to Gladkov, there have been “direct hits to residential apartment buildings and cars in Belgorod and the district.”

Thus, eight people, including a child, were injured in the alleged attack. The shelling damaged 34 apartments in 19 apartment buildings, one private house and 37 vehicles.

At night, an oil depot in the village of Yurivka near Anapa was allegedly attacked. As a result, some tanks were damaged.

“According to the Anapa Emergency Department, about 6 UAVs were downed, but some fell on the territory of the oil depot. As a result, a fire broke out and several tanks were damaged,” the statement said.

According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Later, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 15 Vampire MLRS missiles and one drone over the territory of the Belgorod region.

At the same time, Russian air defense destroyed two UAVs over Bryansk region and three more over Kursk region.

  • On Monday morning, May 6, the Russians announced another drone attack on the Belgorod region, claiming casualties. Ukraine is once again accused of strikes.
