Doctors Without Borders office destroyed in Russia’s night strike on Pokrovsk
On the night of April 5, Russia shelled Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. Five civilians were wounded in the attack, including a 14-year-old teenager

The shelling took place around three in the morning. As a result of the attack, the office of Doctors Without Borders was completely destroyed, but the medical staff was not injured.
"The attack on our office is not an isolated incident. The destruction of civilian infrastructure has been a characteristic feature of this war for a long time," said Vincenzo Porpiglia Emergency Coordinator of Doctors Without Borders in Ukraine.
The organization condemned the attack on the office, which provided emergency medical humanitarian assistance to people in Donetsk region.
What is known about injured civilians
This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.
As a result of shells hitting residential buildings, four family members who were in one of the houses during the shelling were injured - a 70-year-old grandfather and a 65-year-old grandmother, as well as their daughter, 46, and a 14-year-old son. Another resident of 65 years old was also injured in the explosions.
The victims were taken to a hospital with mine-blast injuries, abrasions and contusions, where they are being provided with qualified medical care, law enforcement officers added.
Under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
