Andriy Ryzhenko, 1st Rank Captain of the Ukrainian Navy Reserve, Deputy Chief of Staff of Ukraine's Navy in 2004-2020, noted that Russia already has problems with weapons production

He said this on the Espreso TV channel.

"We see that Ukraine is having problems, but Russia is also having problems. The Russian Federation is already critically dependent on DPRK artillery shells, and this is a serious indicator. The amount of Russian equipment that is being put out of commission by our military is also a very serious indicator. Because the Russians have allegedly put their military industry on wartime rails, but the number of weapons does not meet their needs, and does not even cover their losses," Ryzhenko explained.

According to him, Russia is not ready to fight for more than 2 years.

"The Russian National Welfare Fund is already half empty. There are no funds to cover all the problems associated with sanctions and the fall in oil prices. And all this is happening amidst the fact that the Americans are gradually increasing pressure to ensure that the sanctions are implemented. By the way, today the Russians did not use Kalibr missiles, and this is also an interesting fact. This is an indicator that the Russians are having problems with the production of missiles. Therefore, Russia is not capable of waging such a war for more than 2 years, and our capabilities are completely dependent on the assistance of our partners," Ryzhenko emphasized.

  • Russia is using the UN Security Council to advance its own information operations to convince its allies to stop providing military assistance to Ukraine.
  • On the night and morning of Tuesday, January 23, Russia fired 41 missiles to attack Ukraine. Ukrainian air defense forces managed to destroy 21 missiles, 15 of which were cruise missiles.
