NATO training center for Ukrainian military to be set up in Poland

The defense ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance have decided to establish a joint NATO-Ukraine center in Poland for training and exchange of experience between the Ukrainian military and their colleagues from NATO member states
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made the statement during a press conference following a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels.
According to him, Ukrainian servicemen will be able to train together with NATO troops at the center.
"Today, we decided to create a new NATO-Ukraine joint analysis, training, and education center in Bydgoszcz, Poland. It will allow Ukraine to share lessons learned from Russia’s war. And it will create a structure for Ukrainian forces to learn and train alongside their Allied counterparts," Stoltenberg said.
The NATO Secretary General also noted that the center would be useful for the Alliance by creating a framework platform for training troops of allied countries.
"Our experts are now working on the details, and I expect NATO leaders will take the final decision later on this year," he added.

On February 8, reports stated that military equipment would appear on the roads in Poland in connection with the large-scale NATO military exercise Steadfast Defender-24.
