Medvedev suggests sending residents of occupied territories to Siberian camps
Deputy Chairman of Russia's Security Council Dmitry Medvedev has proposed sending Ukrainians awaiting the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the temporarily occupied territories to Siberia camps
Kommersant reports.
According to Medvedev, there are not many people who are still waiting for the de-occupation of the territories. But it is necessary to conduct explanatory work with the residents of the temporarily occupied territories.
"If these are people who harm Russia, they should be exposed and punished, sent to Siberia. That's it. For re-education in labor camps," Medvedev said.
In his opinion, the residents of the temporary occupied territories need to be convinced that Russia will not give up the captured. "There are just people there who sit and think: "Whoever is stronger, we will serve." There are undoubtedly such people there. But we have to work with everyone. We have to convince these people that we are back for good," he added.
- At the end of 2023, Medvedev announced Russia's intention to seize Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Kyiv.

In January, Medvedev said that the very fact of Ukraine's existence, regardless of its political regime, was the reason for the war.
