In Mariupol, Russians plan to take over 345 more apartments belonging to Ukrainians
In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russians have announced a list of 345 more local apartments that they plan to appropriate
This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.
“The occupation authorities of the city have published another list of “ownerless” apartments. This time, the list includes most of the apartments in high-rise buildings in the Left Bank district,” the city council said.
The occupation authorities demand that Ukrainians whose housing is on the list of “ownerless” should contact the Russian administration of the district within 30 days of the publication of the document and provide proof of ownership of the property.
If this is not done, Russia threatens to start the expropriation procedure.
The Mariupol City Council emphasizes that the decisions of the occupation administration have no legal force, and Ukrainian legislation does not recognize them.
