Russia starts registering 16-year-olds for military service: Ukraine’s official on mobilization in Luhansk region
The former head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai noted that the occupation authorities have created a list of teenagers who can be mobilized in six months
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Mobilization in the temporarily occupied Luhansk region has never stopped, it is constantly ongoing. After the pseudo-elections that recently took place in the Luhansk region, there was a burst of mobilization. Through the so-called elections, the occupation authorities made a list of men who can be mobilized," explained Haidai.
According to him, starting from the age of 16, the Russian occupiers created a military registration of adolescents, taking boys from the age of 18.
"The Russians have plans for the war to drag on. That is why they want to have a clear list of teenagers who can be taken away in six months," emphasized Haidai.
