This was reported by the Russian telegram channel Sirena.

The set includes an iPhone 15 Pro in a design dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War and a case with a built-in mini-TV that plays the song "Victory Day," according to the company's official website.

The "victorious" phone is decorated with jewellery enamel in the colours of the St George's ribbon, as well as a five-pointed star bas-relief made of aviation titanium. The design is complemented by a red calfskin panel, which symbolises strength and energy in Russian culture," the iPhone's designers also point out.

The cheapest 128GB phone costs 519 thousand rubles ($5 thousand), while the most expensive is 589 thousand ($7 thousand). In total, the company has released 99 such devices.

The website also states that the company has recently seen an increase in demand for patriotic-themed phones. Caviar recently released the iPhone President in honour of Putin's election victory.

As a reminder, officials at various levels are prohibited from using Apple products. For example, in June 2023, Putin's spokesman said that the use of this technology was "unacceptable and prohibited". At the same time, the FSB spoke about the "close cooperation" Apple with the national intelligence community, including the US National Security Agency. Apple also banned the official sale of all its products in Russia in 2022.

What is known about Caviar

The design agency was founded in the 2010s by Sergei Kitov, a former political strategist from Nizhny Novgorod. Caviar changes the cases of popular phone models to the same ones made of precious metals and stones and creates beautiful legends about foreign founders and famous clients around the product. Caviar's custom gadgets include AirPods headphones made of gold bullion, an iPhone 11 Pro with a "real" piece of Steve Jobs' turtleneck, smartphones with Putin's portrait for Russian patriots, an iPhone with an Orthodox cross made of gold, and gold phones engraved with the Russian coat of arms and the inscription "We are Russians, God is with us."

"Great Patriotic War" is a term from Soviet historiography for the part of World War II that refers to Hitler's Germany's attack on the USSR. It has been adopted by modern Russia and its satellites and made one of the "staples" of propaganda. It began on 22 June 1941 and ended with the so-called Victory Day, which is celebrated in Russia on 9 May, in 1945 (while the victory in World War II is celebrated on 8 May).
