Russia shells three districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, destroying railway track, schools, damaging gas pipeline, killing person
On July 22, Russian forces have fired at houses, schools, and a railway track in the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing one person and injuring 9 others.
Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration head Valentyn Reznichenko shared the news in his Telegram channel.
On the night of July 22, Russian forces shelles three districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region: Nikopol, Synelnykiv, and Kryvyi Rih.
"Nikopol was shelled twice with multiple rocket launchers (reactive volley fire systems - Ed.). Up to 100 rockets were fired. Previously, one person was killee, one was injured. 11 private houses were damaged. There are bursts of gas and water pipes. The railway track was destroyed. When will it be possible to restore the movement is still not clear," the regional head emphasized.
In the Pokrovsk community, Russian forces fired at warehouses and destroyed a transformer. As a result, several villages were left without electricity.
Russian forces also shelled the Zelenodol community with barrel artillery. They targeted a private house and caused a fire. Rescuers extinguished the fire.
"There were seven shellings in Apostolove. Rockets hit three schools in the city. They were destroyed. Nearby residential buildings were damaged. Rescuers are working on the spot. Eight people are currently injured. The information is still being clarified," Valentyn Reznichenko noted.
