Russia plans to spend 2.4 billion dollars to resettle 100,000 people from Kherson to Russia
The Russian government has issued a decree, which indicates allocation of 175 billion rubles for resettlement of 100,000 people from Kherson to the Russian Federation
Bloomberg reported with reference to the decree of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Russia plans to spend (175 billion rubles) to resettle 100,000 people from Kherson to Russia. Publication notes that in this way aggressor state recognizes that "Kremlin has no hope of seizing part of Ukrainian region that its troops left in the fall."
Corresponding decision is part of the government order of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin seen by Bloomberg journalists. It refers to the decision to oblige state-owned companies producing coal and fertilizers to pay increased dividends and demand "one-time payment" for the state.
“Russia’s budget is increasingly squeezed as President Vladimir Putin’s invasion heads for its second year and the economy contracts under sweeping US and European sanctions. Dividends and a windfall tax paid by Gazprom PJSC already helped swell a fiscal surplus late last year, before heavy spending commitments in December likely sent the budget into the red,” Bloomberg says.
According to the publication, the decree appeared in mid-December, but it was not officially announced. The Russian government and Ministry of Finance did not respond to journalists' requests for comment.

On December 23, Center of National Resistance warned that Russian terrorists are preparing to carry out mass deportation of the population from a number of settlements in temporarily occupied territories. To justify "evacuation", Russians first stop the work of social institutions and increase shelling. After that, Russians will announce first voluntary and then forced "evacuation".
