Russia has carried out 465 chemical attacks on Ukrainian territory since full-scale invasion

It is noted that in December 2023 alone, Ukraine recorded 81 cases."At the same time, the dynamics of use is growing. For example, in just one day on December 19, Russia carried out 8 attacks using chemicals," the report reads.

Most often, the Russian forces use grenades such as K-51, RGR and Drofa-PM hand-held gas grenades, which they drop from UAVs.

However, they also use improvised explosive devices equipped with irritant substances. There are also artillery attacks with chemicals.

In addition, on December 14, Ukrainian forces detected a new type of special gas grenades RG-VO containing an unknown chemical substance used.

At the same time, 28 cases of hazardous chemicals were documented and sent for investigation within the framework of criminal proceedings by radiation, chemical, and biological intelligence groups from the Support Forces Command military units in cooperation with the Ukrainian Security Service.

• The 810th Separate Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet confirmed that it deliberately used chemical weapons against the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which is a violation of the Chemical Weapons Convention, to which Russia is a party.
