Russia attacks 11 regions of Ukraine in one day: 9 civilians killed, 16 injured

On Sunday, September 25, Russia attacked 11 Ukrainian regions. The attacks killed 9 civilians and injured at least 16 others

Information about the shelling of the regions was provided by the regional military administrations.

Cherkasy region: at night, Russia attacked the region with Shahed drones. Ukrainian air defense shot down four air targets.

An infrastructure facility was hit. Preliminary, there were no casualties. The consequences are currently being eliminated.

Chernihiv region: 10 attacks (121 explosions) in the last day. Russian troops fired from artillery and mortars at the border districts. They also launched unguided aerial missiles (4 explosions were reported in one of the region’s communities).

There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure. The data is being clarified. 

Sumy region: at night, Russian troops fired mortar shells at a community. Two explosions were recorded. There were no consequences.

Yesterday, during the day, Russian troops fired 20 times at the border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. In total, 77 explosions were recorded. Eight communities were shelled.

In one of the communities, a power line was damaged as a result of shelling.

Dnipropetrovsk region: this morning there was an explosion in Kryvyi Rih. One of the city's enterprises was hit. Information on the consequences is being clarified. No civilians were injured.

Yesterday, the Nikopol district suffered from attacks. In the morning and afternoon, the Russian army terrorized the Marhanets community. They shelled it with heavy artillery and launched two “kamikaze” drones and dropped ammunition from a UAV. In the evening, they hit Nikopol. No consequences were reported.

At night, Russia shelled the Nikopol district three times with heavy artillery. The district center and two communities came under attack. Three private houses, two outbuildings and 40 solar panels were damaged. An unused building and power lines were damaged. 

Zaporizhzhia region: over the past day, Russian troops fired 124 times at 23 towns and villages on the frontline. There were 102 artillery attacks on the territory of frontline settlements.

Russia launched 8 UAV attacks on 3 settlements, a missile attack on Chervonyi Yar, 8 MLRS attacks on 3 more settlements, and hit Robotyne and Mala Tokmachka with 5 air shells. A 64-year-old resident of Huliaipole was wounded as a result of the artillery attack. Rusisan artillery also claimed the life of a 70-year-old senior.

There were 28 reports of the destruction of residential buildings, commercial buildings and infrastructure.

Kharkiv region: yesterday, as a result of shelling in Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, a house and an outbuilding were damaged and a fire broke out. Cars were destroyed and private houses were damaged. A 73-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were wounded and hospitalized. As a result of the shelling at 7:00 p,, the city garbage dump was on fire. 

The shelling of a village in the Izium district damaged a power line. A combine harvester hit a mine in a field near Andriivka village, Izium district, during harvesting; preliminary, the combine hit a TM-62M, it suffered mechanical damage, no casualties.

In total, 2 people were wounded in the region over the last day.

Luhansk region: Russian troops attacked Nevske with aircraft and artillery. Seven explosions were recorded over the day. 

Also, Russia carried out air raids on Nadiya, Novoyehorivka and Bilohorivka villages. In addition, Bilohorivka withstood artillery strikes. In total, Russian troops 151 attacks (539 shells) over the day. 

Donetsk region: Russian troops fired 19 times at 11 settlements in the region.

As a result, 13 residential buildings, an outbuilding, a cafe, a bus station building, and a market building were damaged.

Two people died in the region over the day.

Mykolaiv region: at night in the Mykolaiv region, Ukrainian air defense shot down six Shahed-136/131 attack drones. 

A fire broke out at an agricultural enterprise in one of the communities in the region due to the debris from an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle that was shot down by air defense forces. Initial reports suggest there were no casualties, but more details are being gathered to confirm.

Last night, the city of Mykolaiv was hit by a missile attack. The missile hit an infrastructure facility on the outskirts of the city. Detailed information on the consequences is being clarified.

Also yesterday afternoon, Russian artillery shelling was recorded in the open area outside the settlements, and in the evening - in the waters of the Kutsurub community. There were no casualties.

Odesa region: Russian troops launched a drone attack that lasted for two hours. While most of the drones were successfully shot down, there was damage to the port infrastructure in the Izmail district. Two truck drivers sustained injuries during the attack. One of them received immediate medical assistance at the scene, while the other was hospitalized with a severe arm injury.

The checkpoint building and warehouses were damaged, about 30 trucks and 6 trucks caught fire. The fires have been extinguished.

Kherson region: this morning,Russian troops launched an aerial attack on Olhivka. Additionally, there were artillery shelling incidents reported in Kyselivka and Kherson. There have been casualties, but further details are being clarified. Over the past day, the enemy carried out a total of 93 attacks in the region, involving the firing of 491 shells. This includes 9 attacks with 28 shells specifically targeting Kherson.

Russian troops targeted 28 settlements in the region; the territory and buildings of educational institutions and housing and communal services in the Beryslav district; an administrative building in the Kherson district; the territory and buildings of educational institutions, a hostel, a pharmacy, food industry enterprises and a market in Kherson city.

Yesterday morning, Russian aircraft attacked Beryslav, dropping four bombs on the city. One of them hit the building of the housing and maintenance office. A 73-year-old and a 55-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman sustained injuries incompatible with life. A 59-year-old woman was also taken to the hospital with back and leg injuries. Another woman, aged 27, was injured with shrapnel wounds to her chest and spine and was also taken to the hospital.

Russian troops launched an artillery attack on Kherson city. Two men and one woman were killed. Four more people were injured. They were taken to the hospital.

Last night, the village of Kyselivka was attacked with missiles. Four people were wounded, 14 houses were damaged. In total, across the region during the day, there were 6 fatalities and 10 people were wounded.
